In memory of Dayna Fayre Hughes
I first met Dayna and her parents at Baruch Ha Shem Messianic Synagogue in 1995. Throughout the years, we quickly became the closest of friends. We had very meaningful conversations about family, friends, encouraged each other, laughed together, etc., but most of all every conversation included YHWH and prayer. Dayna told me all all about her family and friends. She always spoke highly of them. I remember one conversation when she said “I have a brother Matt. and you are my other brother Matt. I have two brother Matt.’s You are part of my family,” since that day we have been brother and sister.
Dayna and I greatly enjoyed spending time together that in all of the years of knowing each other that we never thought of taking pictures of each other. The pictures on this blog are the first pictures that I have of Dayna.
Dayna is an amazing woman of YHWH who made my life better!
I remember meeting her sons for the first time. They were just babies, but now they are amazing young men who love YHWH. Dayna’s parents Jim and Anne have made my life better and continue to do so. I am blessed to be part of this family!
I used to attend Baruch Ha Shem till about one year ago. Dayna would sit with her parents. Dayna would save me a seat by placing her Bible on the chair next to her. I remember seeing her highlight and take notes in her Bible (pictured above). Dayna has the greatest hugs and is filled with the agape of YHWH! I agape you Dayna and will see you again!
“YHWH bless you and keep you;
YHWH make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you;
YHWH lift His countenance upon you, and give you peace.”
“Thus they shall put My Name on the children of Yisra’el and I Myself will bless them.”
